Depending on one’s family customs, Wedding Xi Bings and other betrothal gifts may be prepared by the Groom’s family to be given to the Bride’s family during Guo Da Li (过大礼), as a show of sincerity and in appreciation of them for raising their daughter. Guo Da Li Cakes 过大礼蛋糕
Our range of moist and fluffy Marble Butter Cakes and Walnut Cakes are the perfect choice for traditional Guo Da Li wedding cakes. These old-school cakes bring a comforting sense of familiarity, reminiscent of a time decades ago, as a traditional Chinese Wedding Cake that was common in our parent's time. For our Guo Da Li cakes, we use red buttercream to pipe onto the cake's surface a 囍, representing Double Happiness. 过大礼 Guo Da Li Basket
It is customary to place Guo Da Li 过大礼 items inside a dedicated traditional wedding basket. Depending on one's heritage, these wedding baskets are typically made of straw or in a black & red style, and they radiate an allure of traditional character and charm. While these Guo Da Li baskets are less prevalent today, they still hold significant cultural importance in the Guo Da Li betrothal ceremony, preserving a valuable aspect of Chinese tradition. These Guo Da Li baskets are traditionally filled with symbolic items such as oranges, charcoal, pork trotters, and others, symbolizing well wishes for a joyful and harmonious marriage. Although availability of these Guo Da Li 过大礼 baskets is limited, we are pleased to have limited quantities available for rent exclusively to our customers.

What is the minimum order quantity for Wedding Xi Bings?
We have a minimum order quantity of only 2 boxes of Wedding Xi Bings of the same type, and 5 boxes for Guo Da Li cakes of the same type.
What is the packaging like for Wedding Xi Bings?
Packaging will depend on the quantity of Wedding Xi Bings in each box. For orders with 8 pieces of Wedding Xi Bings 喜饼 per box, the pastries will be placed in our specially-designed wedding giftbox. If you will require a smaller quantity of wedding pastries in each box, we are able to package the pastries in our standard boxes and paste on the box a celebratory 双喜 sticker for the occasion. For images, you can find them on our estore which can be assessed from the “order” button at the top right-hand corner of this page , or feel free to drop us a message on WhatsApp and we can show you some sample images from our past orders as well.
Do you offer delivery services?
Yes! We are able to help with delivery arrangements. To obtain a delivery quote, please visit our estore – simply add any item to cart, select the “delivery” option, key in your address, and our system will let you know the delivery charge to your address.

Are your wedding pastries suitable as wedding favors?
Yes! We have special packaging for individual wedding pastries and they look great as a wedding favor! We can also do cookies and other small bites, and their packaging allows for design customizations as well! How long can I keep your Wedding Xi Bings and Guo Da Li cakes?
We understand that it may be difficult to store our bakes in the fridge before your Guo Da Li ceremony. As such, we have taken special care in crafting our recipes such that the products are stable with relatively easy storage requirements. You have Guo Da Li Baskets for rent? How can I rent these traditional wedding baskets?
While availability is limited, we are pleased to have limited quantities of the Guo Da Li wedding baskets available for rent exclusively to our customers. For rental of the Guo Da Li baskets, we will require a security deposit (in cash, to be refunded upon satisfactorily returning the items) and a rental fee.
