Qns: How to store the mochis? How long can I keep them for? ANS: We always recommend that you consume our mochis on the day itself, so that you can best enjoy their soft and bouncy texture. If you’re consuming them on the day itself, you can just leave them at room temperature. Ang Ku Kueh
Qns: How to store the Ang Ku Kuehs? How long can I keep them for? ANS: Ang Ku Kuehs should be consumed within 8 hours from collection at our shop, and be stored in a cool + dry area. If you will require keeping them for more time, please refrigerate them and you may choose to steam them before consumption but even then, you should consume them as soon as possible. Ang Ku Kuehs do not store well so we will always encourage that you consume them within the same day. If keeping past 8 hours, please smell and visually inspect before consumption – there should not be off-smells, and when tearing apart, there should not be sticky “strings” when you pull the Ang Ku Kueh apart.

ANS: Cakes and Tarts should be refrigerated, they are also generally best enjoyed chilled. “Gateau” options will require prompt refrigeration. If kept in the fridge, they may last for up to 3 days. However, they may dry up, lose moisture, or have the tart base become soggy. As such, we will recommend that you consume them as soon as possible. Please note that the “Rose” apple tart will show browning after some time, this is a natural process when cut apples are exposed to air.
Qns: I need to choose cake and tarts that are able to last up to 6 hours in a sheltered area without refrigeration – could you advise what options might be suitable? ANS: You may consider our chocolate flan, walnut tart, or hazelnut tart. However, for longer durations, they should definitely be stored in the fridge. Depending on your taste preference, you may also prefer to chill the pastries before consumption to enjoy them chilled.

You may want to heat them up using a toaster or air fryer before consumption (see instructions for “Tau Sar Piah”). For our Guo Da Li Cakes, they can be kept unrefrigerated for 24 hours, then in the fridge for 4 more days. They may be enjoyed chilled, no need for reheating. Do note that we always recommend to consume our bakes earlier, as their taste and texture may be less ideal over time.

Ordering
When is the best time to go to your store?
The best time to visit our bakery is around 930am-1030am, because that is when we have the largest availability of our baked goods, they are just fresh out of the oven, our shop is typically less crowded, and especially if you drive, there are relatively more available parking lots!
While there is no guarantee of item availability, we bake in small batches and we bake throughout the day so you can get fresh bakes anytime! But try not to come too late….

Delivery
How much is delivery? How much for free delivery?
Delivery charges can be obtained from our estore at www.603tausarpiah.com/order – simply select an item, key in your address, choose “delivery”, and then you will receive a quote for delivery to your address.
Do note that we have free deliveries for orders above $200!
Any minimum order for delivery?
There is no minimum order for delivery!
What are your delivery timings?
We offer 3 blocks of delivery timings daily. You can choose to have delivery between 9am-12noon, 12noon-3pm, and 3pm-6pm. The driver will be scheduled to arrive at your place within that 3 hour timeframe.
Why are your delivery fees so expensive?
Our delivery is presently managed by 3rd party delivery services (mainly Lalamove) and what Lalamove charges us is what we charge you. We don’t make any markup here, and delivery is just purely a value-added service we wish to offer our customers.
We are actively seeking ways to lower our delivery costs. However, it has been difficult because our bakery is a takeaway concept and our selling prices are already low. As such, we have difficulty in subsidizing the delivery charges as much as we would like to. Thank you for understanding!
